This Girl Can

This Girl Can is a national campaign developed by Sport England and a wide range of partnership organisations. It’s a celebration of active women up and down the country who are doing their thing no matter how well they do it, how they look or even how red their face gets.

National research reveals a huge difference in the number of men and women playing sport. And it’s not because females don’t want to get active. Millions of women and girls are afraid to exercise because of fear of judgment.

We want to increase the number of girls participating in sports increase in both individual and team sports. We have some exciting ambassadors for this programme who are looking forward to meeting our learners very soon!
